THE COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC ACCOUNTS 

As I write this, I am watching the Zoom conference of the House Committee on Public Accounts chaired by Probinsyano Ako Party-list Rep. Jose ''Bonito" C. Singson Jr. of Vigan, Ilocos Sur. The Committee is tackling the issue on the PhilHealth funds. It is a powerful committee whose mandate is to inquire on the manner of disbursements of public monies in government institutions. I am certain that under Rep. Singson, this inquiry will arrive at a conclusive result to help members of the House craft laws beneficial to the country and the people.
